Chivalrous, courageous, united they stand,
Soldiers in quarrels, a war is at hand.
Once tranquil and virtuous, then they were not,
Boys and Men, for freedom, they fought.
Artillery fired, on a battleground wide,
They sacrifice lives, for freedom and pride.
Valiant and dauntless, many are dead,
As the rest of the world lie restless in bed.
A patriotic regiment from countries world-wide,
Fight for their people, though friends have died.
Families commemorate their veterans lives,
As they weep at a memorial, as now widowed wives.
Tall stands a cenotaph, of soldiers who fought,
Poppies are worn by not few but a lot.
Remembrance Days here and many are crying,
As relatives who fought, saved countries by dying.
Thank you!
