The End of ProvidenceHope, chance, and providence
slowly die away;
the fireball sinks beneath us
and brings in night from day.

Count it down, it's nearly done,
nothing can save us all,
our luck's withdrawn for the day,
and down goes the Great Ball.

Soon the skies will give up, too;
the world falls to monstrosity;
blackness inside all of us
finds its curiosity.

Blood-stained skies to blackened pit,
no hope left and no guide;
cope 'til dawn comes 'round again
when fate ascends with pride.
